We just finished creating the levitating ringtone you see pictured above. The entire process took about 15 days. We started by building the levitation chamber in Adobe After Effects, where we modeled and rendered the ringtones. Next, we designed and printed the levitation chambers using our 3D printer and laser cutter. Finally, we embedded the audio files inside the levitation chamber and programmed the Arduino board to play the audio files when the button is pressed. This process, which included a lot of soldering and programming, took us about one month to complete.
