Proximus DnB is a global music streaming service and has now launched in the United States with over 30 million tracks including more than 1,300 labels. Their free platform offers over 7 million users in the US alone.
TeleSign
TeleSign has been working with Proximus DNB for a number of years and has recently expanded its relationship to include the development of the Proximus DNB Mobile app.
In this interview, we spoke with Ben Kies, Senior Product Manager at TeleSign, about how they have worked together with Proximus DNB and how the Proximus DNB Mobile app has been developed.
We have been working with Proximus DNB for a number of years. In 2015, we were approached by Proximus DNB to help them develop their mobile app.

Who is Proximus CEO?
uillaume Boutin is the new CEO of Proximus. He has been CEO since December 2017. Prior to joining Proximus, he worked at SFR and Canal+. His main objective is to oversee the digitalization of the company and implement a restructuring plan. He also has experience in marketing in the telecommunications industry. This is a good combination for a CEO of a large company.
Telecom SudParis
Austin joined Proximus in 2012 as a senior executive. He has also served as the company’s chairman. He was previously CEO of Proximus’s subsidiary BICS. Before joining the company, Boutin was an executive board member and chief consumer market officer. He started his career in an Internet start-up and later worked at SFR in a variety of roles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science and telecommunications engineering from the HEC Paris and Telecom SudParis.
CEO and CMO
Dominique Leroy joined the company in August 2017 as its CEO and CMO. He has since improved the company’s commercial performance, and he has been instrumental in bringing about several innovations. This new management will help Proximus to become a leading player in the gaming industry in Belgium. He will also pursue the digitalization of the Group and prepare it for challenges in the coming years. The CEO will be responsible for the company’s strategic decisions.
